Dear Parent,

Due to the pandemic, the closure of schools and other education institutions plunged many families and students into a ‘crisis schooling’ environment. Like many parents, you may not have known how to engage your kids in meaningful learning and found that the traditional schoolwork approach wasn’t working.

The students were overwhelmed, you were stressed, and the teachers were exhausted trying to cope with the demands of supporting ‘learning at home’.

An outcome of the recent events is the realisation that the one size fits all model of education is failing our children, resulting in learning experiences that are disengaging, irrelevant and redundant. The education system has not changed in over 100 years and yet today everything has changed.

It’s time for an education revolution.

Your children deserve better. The good news is we have already started the Education Revolution with the Genius School and you and your child can join it with us today, by completing the microschool.

Students will develop essential critical innovative and creative thinking skills so they are future-ready for their world of work. They will engage in an inquiry, purpose-based learning experience to ensure they develop the essential skills for lifelong learning.

Genius Group is the world’s leading entrepreneur education group. We deliver a full entrepreneur education system which has already proven to be in high demand, with over 1.5 million students across 20,345 cities already using the curriculum in camps, events, accelerators, schools and companies.

Our curriculum is being used by leading companies and schools around the world. The faculty includes the world’s leading entrepreneurs and over 1,500 certified trainers. The campuses range from schools to colleges, resorts and co-working offices. The calendar includes over 500 local, online events and Microdegrees on our EdTech platform, GeniusU.

For as little as one to two hours each day, students will have the guidance of the mentors and educators as well as the support of a facilitator to design, create and present a persuasive, purpose-based presentation that reflects their unique talent and capabilities to set them up for future success.

Don’t delay! Apply today to make sure you secure your place as we are only bringing on board a limited number of students to make sure they receive the personalised learning they need.

Steps to take

STEP ONE: APPLY AND JOIN

On receiving your application, you will be invited to a call with one of our Genius Igniters, who will take you through a process to define what are the results you and your child can achieve during the program.

On the call, if the microschool feels like the right step to take to help advance your child’s scholastic and academic success, and if the Genius Igniter invites you to join, you will decide to enrol your child in the microschool.

STEP TWO: LEARN AND CREATE

On acceptance to the microschool, you and your child will be invited to an orientation call with a member of the Genius School where you will get focused on the key outcomes you want to achieve during the 2 weeks and where you feel you will need the most support.

Students will get access to the full two-week program with daily content and tasks, this includes mentor sessions, masterclasses and implementation days, Monday to Friday. During the sessions, students will be able to apply the learning strategies to complete the microschool.

Students will get mentoring from experienced educators while also connecting with like-minded peers from around the world. They will be inspired to expand on their knowledge and understanding of global challenges and consider how they can have an impact through their persuasive message.

For Parents/Educators: We also provide you with all the tools and strategies to support your teen’s success. You are invited to join your child on this unique learning journey so you can continue to support them as they improve their future-ready skills.

Who should join?

Genius School’s Quest Microschool is for you if:

You want to give your teen the best start in life, to ensure they have the essential skills to competently transition to the world of work. You know that many of these skills are not adequately addressed in a school-based environment.

You know your child is capable of achieving a whole lot more but the one-size-fits all model of schooling is just not supporting them right now. You are looking for a program that will stimulate their curiosity and inspire their creativity.

You are schooling your teen at home and you need support and guidance on how to best educate your child so they can pursue their passions and interests but not in the traditional subject-based approach to learning. You are looking for a more natural way to learn for home-based learning.

You are a young person who is struggling with the demands of school or college and you know you have to start doing things differently if you want to graduate. You know you need to develop better skills to meet the demands and be future-ready.

What people are saying about the Genius School programs.

“I was really wondering what this was going to be about. But after Tianna had her debrief session with Karen, she was a different person. She was bubbly and excited about what she found out and really keen to share everything with me. She seems to be more focused on what she wants to do after school is finished. As a parent, that is a big relief!”

- Cher, Mother of Tianna, 17-year-old.

“Thank you for investing time with James and me. It was really exciting to see James understand the characteristics of the different profiles and how by understanding his own profile, he can get more into ‘flow’. We have had many interesting conversations about how we can best work together to leverage off each other’s strengths.”

- Sam, Father of James, 12-year-old, Australia.

Nurturing children to think with an entrepreneurial mindset is the best thing we can do for their present and future. Young Entrepreneur Academy cultivates their individual talents with positive energy and promotes hope and possibilities they would not know on their own or learn from school. They discover how much impact they can make to this world 1% at a time and make better decisions like what to do when at home. YEA is a life-time learning platform with so many experienced and kind-hearted entrepreneurs to feel safe for my kids to interact with. I can’t think of anywhere else I’d want my children to be to receive this transformation.”

- Sylvia, Mother of Ben and Vanessa, 14-year-old and 15-year-old.
